The stupid liquor store didn't have any of the ones you recommended, so I ended up with an Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from the Geyeser Peak Winery. Whatever that means. :)
One of my friends helped me pick it out, because she arrived at my apartment waaaaaaay early -- I was just getting ready to go over to the liquor store when she showed up, so we went together.
It was pretty OK, as far as wine goes. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Thanks for the help, though. I'm a big idiot when it comes to liquor, especially the fancy stuff. :)
The 17 Bottles Of project began with Urs and Sig and a bunch of other people in 1999. Unfortunately, the original, in a blue spiral notebook, has vanished. It was a fun project, though, so we're starting over. Hopefully this one will be a bit harder to misplace.
2011 UPDATE: Word on the streets is that the J.Mo. has located the notebook and has it in her possession. We'd love to see it some day...

And I got a bottle of red wine! :)
Good job, Rock. I'm not surprised, but I'm still very proud.
Congratulations!
Thanks, peeps. I'm just so relieved. Whew.
